Lost in Pain
There is a voice inside us all
A wisdom sound and telling
A sensing, pensive wondering,
Do you hear yours?
There is light where there is darkness
Vision free to unfold
A clearing, visual acuity,
Will your eyes behold?
There is love bound up in heartache
In wound and guarded pain
A knot of stubborn stuck-ness
A wall without a gain
May sorrow cleanse the hurts with time
Comfort the mourning soul
Bring forth a balm of healing
And wield a way, as yet untold
